Stereo Surrealist, aka Alexx O'Shea, is a collector of instruments and a maker of noises who is interested in many kinds of music. Based in Manchester, she is a regular performer on the free improv scene using various electronic and acoustic instruments. "Both these tracks were created on a Casio SK-5; for Shelduck all the sounds were created with the magic of circuit bending. Violet Light just uses lots of effects pedals (distortion, delay, phaser, flanger, pitch shift)."

It mainly consists of improvisations (except “Attached“) which were made during a period of 2 months using cassette tapes, different objects, a casio and yamaha keyboard in combination with different effects as well as field recordings which were recorded live during the process.
